Majestic Ventura Theater

History

The Majestic Ventura Theater is the Ventura Theatre at 26 S. Chestnut St. in downtown Ventura, on the Santa Barbara board but not in the city of Santa Barbara. Wikipedia says it is the only luxury theatre built in Ventura County in the 1920s, designed by Lewis Arthur Smith in Spanish Colonial Revival with an interior by Robert E. Power Studios of San Francisco, and that it seats 1,150. The current site uses the Majestic name. Songkick lists The Adicts with Mainliners there on Nov. 4, 2026.
