Your Town Live is free to use. To keep it that way, we earn money when you buy through some of our links.

Ticket links. Many "Tickets" buttons on Your Town Live are affiliate links. If you click one and buy tickets, the ticket seller or its affiliate network may pay Your Town Live a commission. You pay the same price either way. Programs we may take part in include Ticketmaster (including Ticketweb and Universe), SeatGeek, AXS, Etix and Eventbrite, through networks such as Impact and Partnerize.

Eventbrite. As an Eventbrite Affiliate, I earn from qualifying ticket purchases and paid events published on Eventbrite.

Ads. Some pages show ads, including Google ads. We're paid when ads are shown or clicked.

Our own merch. Your Town Live sells its own city-themed merch. When we promote it, that's our own product.

What doesn't change. Commissions don't decide which events we list or where they appear. We list shows because they're happening in your city. Event details come from venues, organizers and public sources. Always confirm the date, time and price on the seller's page before buying. Your Town Live isn't the ticket seller, and ticket purchases, refunds and customer service are handled by the seller.

Place next to ticket buttons.

Event page, directly under or beside the "Tickets" button (small but readable, high contrast):

We may earn a commission if you buy tickets through this link. Your price is the same.

Shorter version where space is tight (e.g., list cards):

Paid link: we earn from ticket sales.

(The FTC says "paid link" right next to an affiliate link should be adequate. "Affiliate link" alone is not.)

On any page that shows Eventbrite links (required by Eventbrite's terms; keep this exact wording):

As an Eventbrite Affiliate, I earn from qualifying ticket purchases and paid events published on Eventbrite.

Newsletter (top of each email that has ticket links):

Some links in this email are paid links: Your Town Live earns a commission on ticket sales at no extra cost to you.

(Note: Eventbrite's terms bar using its licensed materials in emails and newsletters without its advance written approval. Leave Eventbrite links out of the newsletter until approved.)

Social posts with a ticket link: start the post with "Ad:" or "#ad" (or "Paid link"), not buried at the end.
