Oxnard Performing Arts Center

History

Oxnard Performing Arts Center, at 800 Hobson Way in Oxnard, is the former Oxnard Civic Auditorium, not a Santa Barbara city room. The center's history page says residents built it in 1968 after 10 years of fundraising led by Cleo La Bonte, with a 1,604-seat theater, and that it was rebranded in the 1990s. On March 1, 2020 the City of Oxnard gave management to The Canyon, a Ventura County live-entertainment company. A published listing puts Todd Rundgren there on Oct. 25, 2026.
