History
Comedy club at 62 S. Second Street in the 1904 Jose Theater, the oldest theater still standing in San Jose. David Jacks had it built to a design by William Binder; it hosted stock and vaudeville, later movies, and was damaged in the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake. The city bought and repaired it, and the Improv franchise opened there in 2002.
