History
Claims about St Pancras Old Church's age reach back a long way: a vicar writing before 1870 placed its foundation in the 4th century, and a later vicar dated a medieval altar slab found during 19th-century works to the 6th. It was largely rebuilt in the Victorian era, when galleries raised its capacity from about 120 to 500, and it is Grade II* listed. Performers there have included Laura Marling, Brian Eno, Agnes Obel, Sam Smith and Sleep Token.
