American Bank Center Selena Auditorium

History

Wikipedia's Hilliard Center page says the Selena Auditorium opened in 1979 as the Bayfront Plaza Auditorium and was renamed in 1996 for Corpus Christi Tejano singer Selena Quintanilla-Pérez. A 2004 renovation tied it to the rest of the bayfront complex. The complex was Bayfront Plaza, then American Bank Center from 2004, and is now the city-owned Hilliard Center, managed by ASM Global, with an auditorium, convention center, and arena.
