History
Spanish Colonial Revival movie palace at 2001 H Street, designed by S. Charles Lee and opened Christmas Day 1930 with the film Just Imagine. It closed in 1977, briefly reopened in 1983–84, and was bought in 1994 by the Fox Theater Foundation after a Save the Fox campaign. It now hosts concerts, film, and community shows.
