Trinity-St. Paul's United Church began as Trinity Methodist Church, and its Romanesque Revival building was finished in 1889. It became Trinity United Church at church union in 1925, and in 1980 two long-established congregations joined to form the present church. Bill Phipps, a former moderator of the United Church, was its minister from 1974 to 1983. Wikidata records the building as a designated heritage property under Part IV.
