Peel Pub opened in 1962 at 1105 Saint Catherine Street in downtown Montréal. Over the decades it built a reputation for cheap food and drink specials, oversized pizzas and late opening hours. Its regulars have included university students, office workers, tourists and fans heading to events at the nearby Bell Centre.
