77 Bedford Hill, Balham, London SW12 9HD
History
In 1876 the Balham pub on this site held the coroner's inquest into the unsolved poisoning of the lawyer Charles Bravo. The current building dates from about 1931, when Alfred W. Blomfield redesigned it for the brewers Watney Combe & Reid, and Historic England listed it at Grade II in 2015. It is now part of the Three Cheers Pub Co., which school friends Tom Peake, Mark Reynolds and Nick Fox started in 2003.
