Equine Event Services Center

History

Equine Event Services runs Dianne Jacob Lakeside Equestrian Park at 11055 Moreno Avenue in Lakeside. San Diego County had planned the nearly 14-acre park since 2012, started construction in 2020, and spent about $16.9 million; it held a grand opening on December 12, 2023, with a ribbon cutting and an arena show, and contracted Equine Event Services to operate the facility. The grounds include a covered arena, an open arena, a banquet hall, and livestock corrals. It books horse shows and other equestrian and livestock events, and it also rents for gatherings such as receptions and dog shows.
