Tubby's Turn Around

History

Tubby’s Turn Around (also written Turnaround) is the corner store at 1106 Manitou Avenue in Manitou Springs, the town at the foot of Pikes Peak next to Colorado Springs. The Gazette reported on May 13, 2026, that sisters Clara and Norma Robb had run it for more than 40 years and sold it to John Weiss of the Manitou Springs Penny Arcade, with a planned mid-June reopening after a refresh. County records cited in that story date the 1,288-square-foot building to 1967; it has been an auto shop, a grocery, and a convenience store. Yahoo lists phone (719) 685-9391.
