St. Andrew's-Wesley United Church is part of the United Church of Canada and welcomed its first congregation in 1933. Its roots include a Methodist church built on Water Street in 1875 for Indigenous mill workers and St. Andrew's Presbyterian, which opened in 1890 at Georgia and Richards Streets.
