O2 Victoria Warehouse Manchester
Manchester · Trafford Wharf Road, Manchester M17 1AB, UK
O2 Victoria Warehouse began as the Liverpool Warehousing Company's two canal-side warehouses on the edge of Trafford Park, built in 1925 and 1936, and it keeps their cast-iron columns and wooden beams. Developers bought the site in 2009 and rebuilt it, and it opened as an events space on 8 April 2012. In May 2015 George Osborne, then Chancellor of the Exchequer, gave his 'Building a Northern Powerhouse' speech there, and the main auditorium took the O2 Victoria Warehouse name in September 2018.
