The Dome

The Dome is part of the Boston Arms complex at Dartmouth Park Hill and Junction Road, where the pub went up in 1881. The hall was built in 1884 and opened in April 1885. In 1909 its swimming pool became a second hall used as the Electric Theatre cinema, renamed the Stanley in 1914 and closed in 1916. It reopened as an independent music venue in 1981, and today the upstairs room holds 600 and the downstairs 300.
