Islington Assembly Hall

Islington Assembly Hall was built in 1929 and officially opened on 15 March 1930, with Art Deco clocks, paintings and panels among its original features. It closed in the mid-1980s and spent about 30 years as storage until Islington Council funded a restoration, reopening it in 2010. Live events hold up to 890, including 200 seats in the balcony.
