Heaven
London · 11, The Arches, Villiers St, London WC2N 6NG
Heaven opened in December 1979 under the arches of Charing Cross station, taking over a former club called Global Village. Founded by Jeremy Norman, it was one of London's first gay clubs, and Richard Branson's Virgin Group bought it in 1982. MAMA Group partnered with G-A-Y founder Jeremy Joseph to buy it in 2008, and Joseph became sole owner in 2013.
