Wikipedia records the Cajundome as a 13,500-seat arena at 444 Cajundome Boulevard on the University of Louisiana at Lafayette campus. Ground broke on January 27, 1982, and the building opened November 10, 1985; the university owns it and the Cajundome Commission manages it. It is home to Ragin' Cajuns basketball and touring concerts, and it had a $20 million renovation in 2016. The Daily Advertiser noted Kenny Rogers as the first headliner, on November 11, 1985.
