Gooski's, at 3117 Brereton Street in Polish Hill, is a longtime punk and metal club where local and touring bands play the back room for a cheap cover. The brick bar, with its painted wooden sign, red door covered in band stickers, and a punk-rock jukebox, is also known for pierogies and a crowd of musicians. It has kept that edge for decades without much publicity.
