Halloween · Time of the season
Something’s in the doorway.
Haunted houses, a corn maze, hayrides a farm actually posts, and the parade. Community places, not music rooms.

The Amazing Maize Maze
Community place. Not a music room, and not on the venue list.
Queens County Farm Museum · Glen Oaks · New York
73-50 Little Neck Parkway, Floral Park, NY 11004
The place
The ground has been farmed since 1697. The Adriance farmhouse on it dates to the 1770s. Queens County Farm Museum is a New York City landmark and on the National Register of Historic Places, and it is the city’s largest remaining tract of undisturbed farmland. The address is still a working farm, not a stage.
The event
The Amazing Maize Maze is the farm’s own fall labyrinth in the corn. The farm’s calendar sets the weekends, the hours, and the price. It is a path through a field, not a music room and not a ticket broker.
