The place
Lincoln Park Zoo opened in 1868 on Clark Street. It is one of the oldest zoos in the country and it does not charge daytime admission. The grounds are a public park that happens to keep animals.
The event
The zoo’s Halloween night is a family walk on those grounds, pumpkins and paths, not a warehouse built to scare adults. The zoo’s calendar says whether this year’s night is free or needs a pass. Your Town Live does not invent the price.
