The event
San Antonio Zoo's Halloween season adds the new Fiesta de los Muertos for 2026. It's a walk through three Día de los Muertos realms: a marigold-bridge plaza with an ofrenda for beloved animals, sugar-skull animal sculptures, and a garden of folk-art alebrijes. There's also face painting, seasonal treats, a DJ on Saturdays and live entertainment. Costumes are welcome; check the current mask rules before you go.
