The event
New this year at the New York Botanical Garden: a trail of marigold displays, calaveras, alebrijes and a giant floral Catrina, with a community ofrenda among the fall foliage and pumpkins. Weekends add music and crafts. On Nov 1 there's a family parade with large puppets and dancers, and folk dance performances run Oct 31 and Nov 2.
