The event
The Houston Zoo's month-long fall celebration has a Pumpkin Lantern Tunnel between the lion and tiger habitats, Peek-a-Boo Pumpkins hidden around the zoo, and a new Tangled Web Trail. Extended-hours nights add a Spooky Forest, a Ghost Town at the Children's Zoo, glowing pumpkins and s'mores by the fire. Allow extra time on Friday evenings, when Hermann Park traffic is heavy.
