Red Room Lounge

History

Red Room Lounge at 521 W. Sprague Avenue grew out of Jimmy’z, which Craig Larsen opened in 1990 and converted into the Red Room in 2006. The Inlander reported that Larsen, 64, died in January 2025 and the family closed the room after a final show on January 24, 2025. For nearly two decades it mixed rock, blues, hip-hop, metal, and open mics. Songkick still shows a 2026 calendar entry, including Space Wizard on May 9, 2026, at the same address.
