Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox

History

The Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox, 1001 W. Sprague Avenue, is the restored 1931 Fox Theater. HistoryLink says Fox West Coast Theatres opened the Robert C. Reamer Art Deco house on September 3, 1931, for about 2,300 people. The Spokane Symphony bought it for $1.2 million after the last movie in 2000 and reopened it on November 17, 2007, as a roughly 1,600-seat concert hall on the National Register. The Fox site billed Chelsea Handler’s High and Mighty Tour there on October 17, 2026.
