Total Drag Records

History

Total Drag is an all-ages record shop and music room in downtown Sioux Falls, opened May 1, 2014 by Dan Nissen and Liz McGreevy-Nissen, who had been going to local shows since they were teenagers. The Argus Leader reported a DIY store and roughly 80-seat room whose ticket money went to the bands; they planned to nearly double the space and push capacity toward 100. It remains the city's dedicated vinyl shop and a stop for touring indie and punk bills.
