San Miguel Chapel

History

San Miguel Chapel, in Santa Fe, is a Spanish colonial mission church originally built around 1610 and often called the oldest church building in the continental United States. It was rebuilt in the later 1600s and again in 1710 after the Pueblo Revolt; the reredos includes a wooden statue of Saint Michael.
