History

The Lensic Theater, 211 West San Francisco Street, Santa Fe, is an 821-seat house designed by Boller Brothers and opened on June 24, 1931, by Nathan Salmon and E. John Greer. Its name uses the initials of Greer’s six children. The pseudo-Moorish, Spanish Renaissance building is now the Lensic Performing Arts Center. Tyler Ballgame’s October 18, 2026 Santa Fe date was sold through the Lensic box office even though the show itself was set at Tumbleroot (Wikipedia; Santa Fe VIP).
