Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino, on Buffalo Thunder Trail in Santa Fe (Hilton lists 20 Buffalo Thunder Trail), opened to the public on August 12, 2008, with a formal ribbon cutting on September 3 and a Gladys Knight concert on September 5. The 2008 opening write-up called it New Mexico’s largest destination resort, with a Hilton golf hotel, casino, and headline entertainment.
