History
BB's Jazz, Blues & Soups is a downtown St. Louis blues club and restaurant at 700 S. Broadway. The club closed in January 2023 after owner John May halted operations. In 2026 Steve Sullivan and Mark Goldenberg, who also own the nearby Broadway Oyster Bar, bought the three-story building through SSMG Properties; the sale closed September 4 for $625,000 and renovation work began. Blues musician Marquise Knox is booked to program the room, which the new owners plan to reopen in November 2026 as part of the St. Louis Blues Triangle.
