The Listening Room Cafe

618 4th Ave S, Nashville, TN · about 100

History

The Listening Room Cafe was founded in 2006 in Franklin by singer-songwriter Chris Blair, who wanted a room with the sound and atmosphere he felt Nashville songwriters deserved. Music Row regulars called the Franklin room the Bluebird Cafe outside of Nashville. Blair moved it into Cummins Station in September 2008, then to a downtown space off Second Avenue in February 2013, and in 2017 into the former International Harvester tractor building at 618 4th Avenue South. The cafe says the current room holds about 255 seats and is built for an intimate listening show.
