Cannery Hall

1 Cannery Row, Nashville, TN · about 1,000

History

Cannery Hall is a multi-room independent music complex on Cannery Row in Nashville, in a building that dates to 1883, when Liberty Mills built it as a flour mill. It later ground coffee, and in 1957 the Dale family bought it for Dale Foods and began processing jams, condiments, and peanut butter, which is how the building got the Cannery name. A restaurant and entertainment room called The Cannery opened in 1981; Eddie Warner bought the property in December 1992. Today the complex books all genres across three stages: the Mainstage (about 1,275), The Mil (about 550), and Row One (about 300).
