History

Revolution Live is a concert club at 100 SW Third Avenue in Fort Lauderdale, booked as part of the greater Miami market. Miami New Times reports that Jeff John bought out the previous operators of the condemned Chili Pepper, renovated for about a year, and opened on September 28, 2004, with the Wailers on the outdoor patio days after Hurricane Jeanne. Before that the address had been the Edge, an early South Florida rave room, and the Chili Pepper. The indoor-outdoor room has a listed maximum of about 1,300. Early bills included artists such as Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Tyler, the Creator before they moved to arenas.
