Sauder Music Hall

History

Sauder Concert Hall, billed by some ticket sites as Sauder Music Hall, is the 900-seat auditorium (plus a 100-seat choral terrace) inside the Goshen College Music Center at 1700 S. Main St., Goshen. The center opened in fall 2002 and is named for Carolyn and Maynard Sauder, who helped raise the roughly $22 million project after a 1997 donors’ retreat. The college calls the hall acoustically modeled on European concert rooms and keeps two 9-foot Steinway grands on stage. Mariachi Los Camperos have been presented there on the college Performing Arts Series.
