Catalyst Crafted Ales

History

Catalyst Crafted Ales opened in November 2023 in a suite of the Broadway Square shopping center at 1845 E. Broadway Road in Tempe. Rex Williamson and brewer Will Walthereson, who had co-founded Prescott’s Ad Astra Brewing, partnered with Kreg Bahm on the taproom, which brews on site and serves food from an in-house kitchen. Tempe’s Development Review Commission approved a live-entertainment permit on February 27, 2024, after the brewery had already been cited for hosting music without one. The room books live bands and DJs along with trivia and other taproom nights.
