Smart Financial Centre

History

Smart Financial Centre, at 18111 Lexington Boulevard in Sugar Land, broke ground on December 9, 2014, and opened on January 14, 2017, with back-to-back Jerry Seinfeld shows. The city owns the roughly $84 million hall; Smart Financial Credit Union bought the naming rights, and ATG Entertainment operates it. Movable walls let the room scale from about 1,900 seats to 6,400. It books national music tours, comedy, theatrical productions, and family shows.
