History

Revelry is a two-level music venue planned by Revelry GB LLC for 227 E. Walnut St. in downtown Green Bay, in the former Schauer & Schumacher furniture store. Wisconsin Historical Society records describe that building as a 1902 retail block (Art Deco remodeling in 1935 by Foeller, Schober and Berners) that contributes to the Green Bay Downtown Historic District, listed on the National Register in 2019; the furniture business left the site in 2001 and it sat largely vacant afterward. General manager Thomas Johnson said the upstairs room, with Gothic arches and a full stage, will hold about 425, with a first-floor bar and smaller stage for about 220. The group announced an August 1, 2026 opening and an August 28–29 grand opening, aiming at mid-size national tours that often skip Green Bay for Milwaukee or Madison.
