Fox Cities Performing Arts Center

Appleton, WI
History
The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center (the PAC) stands at 400 W. College Ave., downtown Appleton, in the Fox Cities rather than inside Green Bay. Ground was broken in May 2000 and the privately financed $45 million building opened November 25, 2002. Thrivent Financial's predecessor gave the largest corporate gift in Fox Cities history toward construction, and Kimberly-Clark funded the 450-seat Kimberly-Clark Theater inside the complex. The main room, Thrivent Hall, holds about 2,100. Programming includes Broadway tours, the Fox Valley Symphony, education series, and speakers; President George W. Bush spoke there on March 30, 2004.
