History

Fox Cities PAC is the common name for the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center at 400 W. College Ave. in downtown Appleton, Wisconsin, not in the city of Green Bay. The $45 million center, designed by Zeidler Partnership Architects and built by O.J. Boldt, opened November 25, 2002, with Tony Bennett after a private campaign of more than 2,700 donors, including a landmark Thrivent (then Aid Association for Lutherans) gift. Thrivent Hall seats about 2,100 and the Kimberly-Clark Theater about 450. It presents Broadway Across America–Fox Cities, the Fox Valley Symphony, and other series, and hosted Wisconsin premieres including Hamilton, The Lion King, Wicked, and Jersey Boys.
