Prochnow Auditorium

History

Prochnow Auditorium is on the Northern Arizona University campus next to 1899 Bar and Grill. NAU's campus-events page says Arizona State College opened it in 1952 as College Auditorium with the North Union, renamed it University Auditorium when the college became NAU in 1966, and in 1985 named it for alumnus, veteran, and state senator Robert Prochnow. The same page lists 864 seats and past performers including the Kingston Trio, Dionne Warwick, Japanese Breakfast, and Surfaces. A published listing puts Lyle Lovett there on Nov. 7, 2026.
