Breckenridge Brewery

History

Breckenridge Brewery was founded by Richard Squire in Breckenridge in February 1990 and is counted as Colorado’s third modern craft brewery. A second brewpub opened in downtown Denver in 1992, and production moved to Kalamath Street in 1996. In June 2015 the company opened a $36 million, 12-acre campus at 2990 Brewery Lane in Littleton, on a former carnation farm, with the Farm House restaurant and an outdoor stage and beer garden. Westword described the Farm House as about 8,000 square feet, with seating for nearly 300 inside. The Farm House books weekly funk, jam, blues, and Americana, and the grounds host larger shows, including the brewery’s Hootenanny.
