H-E-B Center at Cedar Park

History

Ground broke in June 2008 on the arena in Cedar Park, which opened on September 25, 2009, as Cedar Park Center with a sold-out George Strait concert. H-E-B bought the naming rights, and the building was renamed the H-E-B Center on April 22, 2016. It is home to the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League, about 6,800 for hockey, and the Austin Spurs of the G League, about 7,200 for basketball. Concerts can be staged from a theater layout of about 2,500 up to about 8,000.
