History
The Rio Grande Theatre is the downtown Las Cruces movie house at 211 N. Main St. Wikipedia says it opened on July 29, 1926, was built by Seale and Dyne, and was operated by the Central Theatres Corporation of Denver. The theatre's site now bills live music, films, and performing arts. A local venue guide describes touring and regional shows there.
