History

Satellite Music Hall is a Live Nation room inside Crosstown Concourse that opened to the public on September 4, 2026, with hometown band The Band CAMINO recording a live album over two nights. Live Nation and local news describe a purpose-built hall of about 1,300 people, with a main floor, a mezzanine, and a Vinyl Room lounge, meant for artists between clubs and arenas. The name nods to Satellite Records, the label tied to the start of Memphis soul. A community preview on September 2 featured students and alumni from Stax Music Academy.
