Moroccan Lounge

901 E 1st St, Los Angeles, CA · about 250
History
The Moroccan Lounge opened in September 2017 at 901 E. 1st Street, on the edge of Little Tokyo and the Arts District, as the smaller sister club to the Teragram Ballroom. Michael Swier and Joe Baxley, with an interior by Brian Swier, turned a building the venue dates to 1899 into a standing room of about 250 to 275. The address had already been Little Pedro’s, Bordello, One Eyed Gypsy, and the restaurant Osso. A soft opening on September 12, 2017, was followed by a public launch with the band Pup on September 19.
