History
The Fillmore Philadelphia opened in October 2015 in Fishtown’s former AJAX metal-works building at 29 E. Allen Street, a Live Nation conversion of the old industrial block. Hall & Oates played the first official concert in the 2,500-capacity main room, which shares the complex with the 450-person Foundry and the Ajax Hall bar. The room keeps exposed concrete, surviving graffiti, and chandeliers, and it books major touring pop, rock, and other concerts.
