History
Louisville Memorial Auditorium is a Greek Revival concert hall at 970 South Fourth Street. It was dedicated on Memorial Day 1929 for local World War I service. A 1954 renovation lowered the ceiling and closed the side balconies, dropping the seat count from 2,349 to 1,742.
