History
City Winery Boston is the local room of the music-venue, restaurant, and winery company founded by Michael Dorf, which opened its first location in New York in 2008. After construction delays, the Boston outpost opened in November 2017 at 80 Beverly Street in the West End, steps from TD Garden and Haymarket station. The space pairs seated concerts—about 300 people, with dinner served during the show—with wine made in house and a full restaurant. It also hosts comedy, wine tastings, and private events in the main room, Barrel Room, and smaller lounges.
