Lux Lounge

History

Lux Lounge is the South Wedge dive at 666 South Avenue. Owner Karrie Laughton opened it in 2002 as a communal room: pool, pinball, a backyard ring-toss, and the Pabst Smear, a can of PBR and a well shot. A fire on June 29, 2026 damaged the upstairs office. The bar’s own site still gives the address and the 4pm–2am hours. (lux666.com; Democrat and Chronicle)
